Region Track and Field Championships will be held in Albury on Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th February 2012.

Entry is open to all athletes Girls and Boys U/9 to U/15 and to U8’s for 4 invitation events.

A maximum of four (4) events with a fee of $8.00 per event. There will be 2 invitation events offered on each day for U8 Boys and Girls at a cost of $2.00 per event. There is no progression to State for an U8 athlete.

First place in each event at each Region and the next best 17 performances in the State will advance to the State finals to be held at Olympic Park Melbourne, on March 19th & 20th.

PARENT INFORMATION: Please note that parents of those children entering will be required to help act as an official (i.e. hold a tape measure write results etc.) at some time over the weekend this will be done on a roster basis and may involve being in attendance even when your child is competing.

PLEASE NOTE - To Be Eligible to Enter Region & State Championships

Athletes who wish to participate in the Region or State Track & Field Championships must have participated in at least 50% of the available normal centre competition meetings since the date of their registration. Furthermore the minimum number of competition meetings competed in shall not be less than two (2) since the date of their registration and prior to the closing date of entries.

Starting heights for High Jump are below, if entering the High Jump please ensure you can jump these starting heights or higher.
