ATTENTION ALL LITTLE ATHLETES....

The Albury Wodonga Gift is gearing up to host a classic day of racing!  Come along and join some of Australia’s top athletes in competing in a handicap style competition.

The “marks” or “handicaps” are designed to give athletes of all ages and abilities the chance at taking home a sash!  Each athlete will be allocated a mark based on their personal best times.

The event places a large focus on the participation of junior athletes and believes professional athletics is a great way for all competitors to compete in a fun, practicable and competitive environment.

The athletics will be conducted by the Victorian Athletic League who has been the governing body for professional athletics events throughout the state of Victoria since its establishment in 1895.

VENUE: Albury Sports Ground (Albury Tigers Football Club)

DATE: Sunday January 29

TIME: LA’s heats from 9:00am

ENTRY INFORMATION:

Entries are open to all athletes registered with LAVic, LANSW, Athletics Victoria and Athletics NSW.  The events are open to athletes of any club however; ENTRY NUMBERS ARE LIMITED due to the full day’s program already installed for the Albury Wodonga Gift.

ENTRY FEES: $5.00 per race entry
