  • Compulsory warm up for all athletes at 8:30am.
  • Centre Programs commence at 8:45 am Sharp.
  • Programs rotate in the following order 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
  • In the event of a missed or cancelled program, the missed program will be run on the next Centre program day.
  • U6 and U7 Athletes will participate in Skills & program on the back straight.
  • Records are recognised on Saturday morning competitions at Alexandra Park only & must be verified by a committee member or the record will be invalid.
  • If events clash Track events take precedence over Field.
  • Athletes are recognised for personal best performances.
  • Centre Program order may change and Modified Program may be used on days when weather conditions require.

  • The Multi Event consists of 5 events for U9 to U16 athletes and a modified 4 events for U6 to U8s.
  • All events must be attempted. If an athlete fails to attempt to start or make a trial in one of the disciplines, they shall not figure in the final placings.
  • Placegetters will be recognised in each age group.
  • Events must be contested within age groups. Athletes will not be permitted to compete in higher or lower age groups if they miss their own age group event.

 

BORDER CHALLENGE CUP

Saturday 5th November 2011

4.00 p.m. Start

Albury, Lavington/Jindera and Wodonga get together once a year to compete for the Border Challenge Cup.

This meeting will be held this season at Alexandra Park Albury commencing at 4.00pm (athletes are requested to be at the ground by 3.45pm).

A special Program is held, the Centre with the most points wins the Cup. It is important all our athletes attend.

  • There are NO entry fees it is a normal Saturday.
  • All PB’s will be recognised.
  • Alterations to the published program may be made at the discretion of the committees.

IMPORTANT: For athletes to be eligible to win Centre T&F Championship awards they must have competed in a minimum of 8 Centre Competition days, which may include the Border Challenge Cup & Centre Multi Event and to be eligible to enter an event the athlete must have competed successfully in that event throughout the season at Centre Meetings.

  • U6 to U7 athletes will follow the set program
  • U9 to U16 athletes may enter a maximum of any 5 events each day.
  • Exemption from the qualifying requirements will be at the discretion of the committee or referee.
  • All events will be run in age groups.
  • Placegetters will be recognised in all events.
